one day @ Travemünde Strand II Jey

Dear followers,

have you heard of the Travemünder Strand? It is a beautiful, beautiful, more than beautiful place here in the North of Germany. Travemünde is a borough of Lübeck and connects to the Baltic Sea (in german the `Ostsee`). It has a bright beach with lots of space for bathing / sunbathing and camping. We´ve been there for half a day and enjoyed it a lot. Let me take you all along.

I wanted to take loads of photos but as I am so used to taking videos I always neglect to take photos and end up with 30 minutes footage of video and 3-4 actual photos. I´ll be a good camper next time and provide you with more photos of the beautiful scenery.
So here´s the video I put together for your consideration:

Of course you can find all sorts of information about Travemünde in the internet. I will not copy and paste any of these but I have to mention that Travemünde is a famous seaside resort since 1802. Which you can imagine makes them professionals in hosting tourists, providing them with all things necessary.
First time I´ve been to the seaside in Travemünde, we were travelling with the train. The Travemünde train station is a tiny terminal station which opens up to the beautiful scenery of the beach. Meaning when one exits the station one finds directly few touristic shops, restaurants, hotels and a nice alley down to the beach. No directions needed. No map needed. One is promptly in vacation heaven. The hotels and restaurants are one floor buildings only (except for that one hotel which is the sky high hotel with several floors - postcards tripod in hotel form).
If you´ve ever been to a beach in Italy, South of France or even Mallorca Travemünde can be named right with them. More pitoresque beach resorts I found in the Netherlands maybe.

So, besides those beach activities one can do, like playing volleyball, playing with any sort of beach racket and ball game, sailing, eating ice cream, renting one of these beach huts (roofed wicker beach chairs), having picknick, etc. We did only a few things: I ate delicious melted ice cream (yummy but not recommended, not sure what was wrong with this ice cream place inside the hotel), my boyfriend went for a jogg along the beach (showers provided if you find 20 degrees celsius of Baltic sea water too cold). We also just layed in the sun until late (7pm :) ). I took a bath in the sea, which threw a lot of waves, it was a lot of fun. I also ate my full doggy bag I took from home, the wind is so crystal clear, it makes you hungry immediately.
Yes, we left at about 7 - 7:30 pm which was a big mistake, as half of the people from the beach seemed to live also in Hamburg, the Autobahn plus the provincial alternative route was packed. Everywhere ´Stau´. It took us two full hours for a distance of 45 min.
All in all, I highly recommend a trip to the beaches of Northern Germany.

I hope you liked it

crunchy oat bars to go II recepy II Jey

Dear followers,

I have a super nice and easy recepy for you to bake at your home.
Be sure to try it, it´s worth the guttural joy.

Here are the ingredients needed:

3 cups of oats
1 cup of small nuts
1 cup of milk (almond or soymilk)
1/2 cup of maple syrup
berries or any fruit

Of course you may substitue any ingredient with anything you like best. Soymilk, almondmilk, whole milk everything is possible. Syrup or honey, whatever you want. Berries or apples. Or both.

Mix every ingredient in a bowl, make sure it´s moist and sticky. Add more milk if too dry. Add more oats if needed.

Let it brown for twenty minutes at 200°C .
When done (you´ll see it at the yummy brown color) take it out of the oven to cool down.

#empties II May 2016 II Jey

Dear Makeup Lovers,

I gathered a lot of products throughout the months. I like doing these #empties posts because it´s quick and easy. Plus my thoughts have changed on so many products in comparison to when I first purchased them. Maybe I´ve been buying this and that product because a friend has recommended. Maybe I bought this and that product because I liked the packaging or a TV ad has caught my attention. Either way, after using it completely your idea on promises like `longlasting`, ´5 in 1´ or `magic´ might change.
So here my monthly empties.
Be sure to follow me on instagram, @jeyproductions2 as my #empties posts over there are much more snap. On insta I like the simple thumbs up or thumbs down method to quickly tell weather I´d be repurchasing a product or no.

These are the products I´ve been using up in the past months. Scroll down for more detailed information about brands like:
*budni care - famous brand of our local (North of Germany) drugstore
*Avène (couvrance) - french brand available at german pharmacies
*Lush - the you know who brand from GB; first store in Germany happened to be in Hamburg
*CD - german brand; not much to say about it - cruelty free products
*santé - natural cosmetics
*aliqua - german brand from drugstore
*real - german supermarket
*benefit - beauty brand since 1976
*êtrebelle - european brand
*balea - brand from german drugstore ´dm´
*Dr. Hauschka - together with WALA Arzneimittel a prestigious cosmetic brand (german)
*Kiko makeup milano - italian brand

These are the essentials one needs I guess every month. I wanted to try the cheapest, maybe to save up some money. All of these are under one Euro, which is hilariously little amount of money.
But I have to say, it´s not worth it. Or vice versa?

*budni care Glanzshampoo* -
mit Pro-Vitamin B5 & Weizenprotein
strahlender Glanz - ohne Silikone
stumpfes & glanzloses Haar 300ml
I didn´t like it at all. It had a horribly bad smell. I had such a hard time using it every day.
I´m not the person to throw out a product, when I don´t like something so trivia as the smell, but this one... it didn´t keep it´s promise to leave the hair nice and moistured. No, my hair had the same dryness as before. No extra shine, no softness. Unfortunately a fail in our drugstore.

*Balea shower gel* -
Dusche & Creme - Limette & Aloe Vera
moisture care 300ml
very cheap, very attractive packaging, but nothing to get there. It doesn´t do anything for me. Actually I´m not a fan of any shower gel. I think showering or more soaping up your body is that one step that I do very quickly. As I don´t think that my legs get very dirty in these jeans all day. Anyway, I think shower gels are more for the drain, which is a sad thought. I like using soaps that make me feel crisp and clean after usage.

*budnicare hairspray* -
Ultra power Haarspray, mit Vitamin B3 & Panthenol
5 Ultra stark 300ml
not much to see here also. I ran through this bottle way too fast. My hair is not very stiff after using it, which some may prefer. But also this hairspray didn´t hold my curls very well.

*budnicare*
facewash - facemilk cleansing milk
Unfortunately I can´t give you any recommendations in this quartet. I didn´t like this facewash. It didn´t clean my skin. It made it bumpy and dry after using it every night. I had to wait two or more days to use it again.

*Avène*
+Hydrance optimale - sérum hydratant
+Crème peaux intolérantes
+Xera calm - Crème relipidante
+Eau thermale 300ml
*Couvrance* mascara haute tolérance noir
Avène is such an eye opening brand. I wish it was cheaper, I wish it was available everywhere. I am so in love with almost all of their products. And I´m willing to save up all my money to afford these beauties of beauty products. :)
In the front row you´ll see my all time favorite mascara. It is black, the wand is tiny, curved and it gives my lashes volume as well as seperation and density. I love it, have I mentioned?
The other packages are packages of travel size cremes. I use them all for my face, as they are so tiny.
The big spray bottle in the background is their famous and most talked about thermal water. I love it. And I can repeat that it is helping me as much as rosewater is helping and curing.

*L´Oréal*
11.11 Island - mit extra Farbaufrischer
Infinia Préférence les blondissimes
L´Oréal makes these beautiful haircolorations. I love their ads that the new colors are as cool as you see them on the packaging. Doesn´t work with my hair though. My hair has too many red undertones I heard someone teaching me. Oh well, three to four packages of hairdye later I am the same blond as before. Really frustrating. I can recommend the silvershampoo that comes with the package.

*Santé* cosmetics
eyeliner
Santé has a small stand in our drugstore. I purchased an eyeliner, it came also with this fancy paper packging. But I didn´t like it at all. It was just too natural as it didn´t stay on my lid. The color was just disappointing.

*Kiko*
Makeup Milano - skinny fit kajal
crayon yeux 1,6g
Kiko has the best liners. This was a summer limited edition of their kajal in a blue / purple. I loved it and still love it. Kajals are the cosmetic that lives the longest life in my makeup collection. Is it for you also?

*CD*
CD Deo - 24h - Wasserlilie 75ml
CD deodorant is also a disappointing product. No sweat protection whatsoever. Unfortunately, as the packaging is nice and the smell is not too bad also.

*real*
electric toothbrush headers
real,- makes a very nice and affordable dupe for those electric toothbrush headers. If you´re looking for a dupe for those way too expensive toothbrush headers look out for this packaging and the real,- brand (supermarket).

*Dr. Hauschka*
Lippenkosmetikum 4,5ml
Dr. Hauschka has never been a favorite of mine. I know a lot people enjoying the products very much. Recommended by so many dermatologists, Dr. Hauschka has never made it to my bathroom. This lip balm is an exception. I never finished it, but as it is so natural, it has changed its smell quite a lot.

*Lush* soap
*Lush* shampoo
What should I tell you about Lush. It´s such a famous brand. If you have never been to one of their shops, you must go and check them out. The smells are beautiful, out of this world. It is a rather high end brand but the ingredients are all natural which is just amazing.

*être belle*
lip scrub
This has been one of the few fails. I would have never picked it up. I´m not a fan of lipscrubs. At most I am scrubbing my lips with my toothbrush or in the shower with a shower sponge. But having a leave on product for lips. Na, I don´t know, it´s not my thing.

*Kiko*
Makeup Milano creme crush
lasting colour eyeshadow 10 - 4g
Such a nice color. Such a soft product. All in all I´m a big fan of Kiko and if you want a proof for that brand being so good, go and pick this creme eyeshadow pot.

*aliqua*
Gesichtsöl - face oil
Jojobaöl & Mandelöl - trockene Haut - 15ml
I bought this product several times these years. It lasts a long time. I feel my skin can recover for days with this oil. I don´t know is it the jojoba or the almond. This stuff is just amazing. I use it after taking shower in the morning. I can immediately wear make up, actually the makeup especially the L´Oréal true match foundation sits very well on top of the oil, and it won´t stop the healing of the oils.

*bionarca*
Wohlfühlbad - 20ml
It recommends on the packaging to use it for one or two baths. But to be honest I used it so many times. I always just dropped a few drops in my bath. It gave a very nice scent. Bathing is my favorite thing to do, if you can´t tell.

*benefit*
they´re real! - beyond mascara 3g
This they´re real mascara sample size was rather disappointing to me. I´m not looking for extra drama lashes. I don´t want extra black thick lashes which look like they´ve crumbled up.
As I mentioned above the Couvrance mascara is much more delicate. Some may use it just for bottomlashes but I think having delicate long lashes is more suiting my face makeup and eyeshape.

monthly faves II Jan - May 2016 II a recap - half a year of monthly faves II Jey

Dear followers,

I´ve been setting myself a goal of putting out at least once a month one monthly faves video. I succeeded so far. But it came to my mind, that it´s not the ideal format, at least for me. I´m not a certified beauty blogger, which means no company sends products to test for me. Which means I really use the stuff I buy, which makes it hard to switch up my products every month (well, I guess I don´t have to, but repeats are so boring.
So here I am with my a new format, my half of 2016 recap. I realized I tend to buy a lot products of just these companies: Kiko, L´Oréal, Avène, The bodyshop.
Please enjoy my little compilation of makeup. To me these are the best of the best.

I don´t think I will go too much into detail with every product, because there is a Video :

April faves II random II 2016 II Jey

Dear followers,

I totally forgot to blog about my April faves. But I had a look at my insta and realized that all my faves are there. Do you love insta as much as I do? I love scrolling back in time through my own feed. Even though it reminds me of how time flies by so quickly. Yet another year has passed. But oh... I try and appreciate as much as possible.

So here are my April faves (just for my record, as it is already June!) according to insta:
Don´t forget to follow me: @ jeyproductions2

In this cute little OOTD post I am wearing a few of my all time faves:
Jacket :: Faiza
This chanel inspired jacket is more of a cardigan as it has no bottons. I bought it a few years ago in my hometown, in one of my all time favorite shops called `Faiza`. I think the white and black mish mash color with the fake leather black rim is super nice in a combination with bright blue or in general with bright colors. It instantly gives me a feeling of summertime (props because I wore it most of the times in spring and autumn).
Shirt :: H&M
That blue white striped shirt is such a feel good shirt, it has absolutely no shape, and is unflattering oversized. But then paired with a skinny pair of jeans it makes sense, and again the bright colors are very refreshing after a cold hard and long winter.
Shoes :: H&M
The shoes are from H&M. I bought them in a brown and black. The heel has the perfect height. I have no problems whatsoever to walk on them for a longer time. They give a nice shape to the feet also.
Trousers :: H&M
The trousers are also from H&M, very basic, tight, of a thick jean material.
Socks :: monki
The socks, if you pay attention closely are from monki and are from a see through material with white flowers on them. The top and the tips are black. I think they are super sexy if a sock can be. monki has a wide range of those socks, I always imagine to be at a shop in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan when I´m in there. A little Japan in Germany what more can I ask for?

I wanted to include this photo of the small roses, of which they produce the famous rosewater (the cosmetic tonic water).
This is a handmade necklace of dried roses. I received it as a gift from an old lady. You may pick one and infuse your tea with it.
Nothing but a beauty, <3

Spring is always the best time to start and do your workout outdoors. I´ve been enjoying biking nowadays. Everything else gives me a headache. I like the speed and the distance I cycle around Alster lake here in Hamburg.
My outfit is mostly primark. I think one can find really good workout clothes at primark. This grey trousers are of a beautiful soft and flexible material and it also provides a pocket on the back of the trousers.
I paired it with a small blue trousers which is also from primark (I bought it a long time ago).
The white jacket is also from primark and I happened to buy also a green one this year. I love these workout jackets. They have a beautiful size and are wonderfully light weight. Or no weight at all.
My pink shoes are from adidas and these are the most expensive ones I have ever bought. But these are totally worth it. The sole of the shoe is the best part. Very comfortable.

Tea, tea and tea. I love tea, if you can´t tell. As every famous blogger I know, there´s nothing better than enjoying a good cup of tea.
In this picture you find a nice selection of green tea, I got it from a friend of a friend from Japan.
Kindly a follower of mine translated and helped me with the japanese packaging.
伊藤園 Ito En is a famous maker of the tea🍵お〜い、お茶❢ O〜i, Ocha❢ is the brand name, and it means『Hey, tea』
緑茶 Ryokucha is produced from green tea leaves🌿 that are steamed and dried but not fermented.
ほうじ茶 Hojicha is made by roasting the coarser tea leaves 🌿over charcoal. And this is low in caffeine and tannins(*´ ˘ `*)
plus instructions:
٩(๑>∀<๑)و♡Please extract Hojicha with boiling water🔥and extract Ryokucha with hot water of 80degrees Celsius♨ 度=℃、temperature❢ 秒=seconds, 分=minutes, They mean the time of extraction🍵緑Midori=green, 茶Cha=tea. Please enjoy Japanese taste🗻ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ

if you didn´t know, the green tea is the most vulnerable one. You must pay attention to the instructions of brewing and to the temperature of the water.
It reminds me of that one time, I´ve been sitting in a tea café in London and the waiter, a paissonate tea brewer did his work with such precision and passion, it was a best tea drinking time of my life.

This is a new cup I purchased. I love the transluscent color. It´s a mix of green and blue. I got it from Rewe.
My cat in the background <3

Every month I picked up a new book (I tried). This months read was Lavanya Sankaran "Die Farben der Hoffnung". It had a lot of good critiques. But what drew me to it was the fact that the story takes place in Bangalore, India. I´m a fan of the Indian subcontinent. But to be honest, I couldn´t recommend this book. It is rather easy to read, yet a little too boring for a fast read. I read half and yes I will finish my read but I`m not much enjoying it. Sorry.

That´s it for my monthly faves.
I hope you enjoyed
